The Djurali Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Research and Education at the Heart Research Institute (HRI) is delighted to invite you to join our “Your Heart Health is in Your Hands” community volunteer day to mark World Heart Day.

On this day, volunteers will work together to pack health care kits that will be distributed by HRI’s Djurali Centre to 5,000 people across Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities throughout Australia.

The kits will contain essential resources, such as information about heart disease risk factors, and tools to monitor heart health and promote a healthy lifestyle – providing community members with the power to take their heart health into their own hands.

Please join us onsite at HRI to help us pack these important care kits. We’d love you to work with us to make a difference.
